On my first day off, it was beautiful outside. While Reece was taking a nap, Cailey and I went outside to practice taking pictures. Well, I took pictures and she played. My two favorites of her...This is my favorite of her and Tank. They both are smiling! While out in the backyard, Cailey heard our neighbor Madison out in the front yard. After screaming back and forth, Cailey was begging to go out front. So we went out front to play. Reece woke up and wondered what the heck was going on..... But she soon was all about it. It was in the 90's and the girls were playing in the hose. Reece had a skirt on that got wet and kept falling down, so we just took it off. Over-exposed....."Swimming, pretending to be fish."
Since the rain didn't come on my day off, the girls were so good while I did some stuff around the house so we went outside. After lunch and naps, we took the easel outside and let the paint fly. Cailey said, "Mommy, this was the best idea ever!"Encouraging her sister, loving her picture.....Sitting in a chair, painting, with feet dangling in dress shoes..... Cheese! Mom!! I am trying to paint! A masterpiece.
With my weekend off, we made plans to have dinner with family. Granny, Aunt Stacy, Uncle Gordon, Wyatt, Chase and Cheyenne all joined us for dinner at AJ Bariles Chicago Pizza. It was so good and we topped it off with Frugos frozen yogurt for dessert. Uncle Kevin was bouncing Cheyenne and it put her right to sleep.....
When getting ready to leave for dinner, Cailey wanted to wear her scarf. Reece immediately wanted one so I went and got one of mine for her. She was in heaven and so cute.
I was originally trying to get pictures of Reece posing in a crown.... this is how that was going.....But then Cailey started smiling with her..... and it turned into me taking a picture and then they wanted to immediately see it. Ok by me!
I had to work all day, but that was ok. Kevin saved dinner and put the corned beef in the crock pot. When we all got home it was ready to go. We have been taking full advantage of the longer days and playing outside when we get home. I tried to get cute pictures of the girls in their shirts but ... no real luck. After playing outside, Kevin got home and took Cailey on a spin on her bike. We had corned beef and rolls for dinner with green cookies for dessert. A pretty normal day. Cutie pie, finally is starting to smile instead of running away.....
Kevin is an auto mechanic who works for the second largest employer in Southern California. He can fix anything, from cars to bikes to dolls. Brittany is an Assistant Manager working for the largest employer in Southern California. In her spare time she chases the girls around and tries to do as much with them as possible... and the cleaning too. Cailey is a bright little girl that will talk your ear off. She is our little princess and loves to read, dress up, play teacher, dance and watch movies. Reece is a wild little girl. We often refer to her as our little boy because she will try anything, but she is also a big cuddle bug too who loves to dance and ride her bike. Thats us, living life.
This blog is set up, purely to let family and friends know what we have been up to. It will also be made into a book yearly for our kids to enjoy and keep.
