Trick or Treat?

On Halloween, I had to work until about 5.  By the time we got home, we rushed the girls into their costumes and headed over to the Lloyd's to trick or treat with Brooklyn.

When we got to the Lloyd house, we were greeted by EVERYONE who was there.  And I do mean everyone in the house was in that entry way.  Why?  Because they are having another baby and couldn't wait to tell us!  I was especially excited!  Baby Lloyd will join our world in early June 2012. Here are all the girls together- A mermaid, a "my little pony", and a puppy.

 They all have tails.
After trick or treating with Brooklyn, we headed over to see Aunt Stacy, Uncle Gordon and Cheyenne. Cheyenne made a cute chick.

Pumpkin carving time!

The girls love to draw on their pumpkins.  Last year, neither wanted theirs carved so I painted both of them. This year they didn't want them carved (because they didn't want to clean them out once they saw Mommy's) so they painted theirs.

Talking about what she is going to draw on hers to paint.

Watching Daddy open his to clean out.
Taking notes and deciding she doesn't want to do that.

 Painting is better!!!

They had a blast painting their pumpkins.  We kept them through Thanksgiving before we had to throw them out.  Cailey swears that she will carve hers next year.  Mommy isn't so sure.  We will see next year.

The Pumpkin Patch at Live Oak

We headed to the pumpkin patch we go to every year.  They have a few acres where you can pick and cut your pumpkin from the vines they grew on.  It is such a fun experience for the girls.  We usually find most of our pumpkins and cut them from the vines but we do go to the pre cut ones for the bigger pumpkins.  This year was Cheyenne's first experience and the girls enjoyed having her with us.  Granny and Aunt Stacy tagged along too.  It was a fun afternoon of pumpkin picking and riding in the wagon.
