Easter Morning

Easter morning in our house turned into a whole day of Easter fun.  The girls woke up and Daddy took pictures of them with their baskets.

The Easter Bunny narrowly escaped!  Part of his tail was stuck in our door!
All ready for to hunt for the eggs the Easter bunny hid out in our backyard.

 Checking out the loot

After Easter at our house, the girls and Daddy went over to Aunt Stacys for breakfast and an egg hunt with Cheyenne and Kristen.  Daddy was Mommy's hero and took some great pictures so that she could see how much fun was had while she was working.

When I got home, Grandma and Papa were at our house and we all had dinner together.  After dinner, the girls had their 3RD egg hunt.  It was nice for me to get to see them enjoy it and get to take part in their Easter, even if just a little bit. Talk about spoiled!

Coloring our Easter eggs

My girls were crazy excited to color Easter eggs this year.  Last year they had little interest, but this year was a different story. After showing them how to put the eggs in the dye safely, they took turns nicely placing the eggs in the colors they wanted.

While waiting for the eggs to get extra colorful they made faces and made each other giggle so hard because they were kissing each other and pretending to miss.

Afterward a little cuddle time with Daddy was all they needed before bed.

Cinnamon Rolls

On our last morning camping we made cinnamon rolls as a part of breakfast.  We made the kids their own pan and let them frost it themselves.  They were way more interested in eating the frosting then they were actually frosting the rolls.  Luckily, they did a good enough job that when they ate their cinnamon rolls, there was some frosting on them too.
