Trick or Treating with the Lloyds

This Halloween, Cailey was a Ever After High character and Reece was a plain ol' princess. We went trick or treating with the Lloyds.  Brooklyn was Belle and Trent was a race car driver.

Pumpkin Carving

Daddy asked the girls if they wanted to paint their pumpkins this year or actually carve them.  The past few years they wanted to paint them.  This year they both wanted them carved.  Reece wanted a "pumpkin face."  She really means a regular jack o lantern.

Cailey requested a Tinkerbelle design we saw on the internet.

 The finished product!

Our Wizard of Oz Halloween

When Mommy found out Brooklyn was going to be Dorothy for Halloween and Trent the Tin Man, she talked to Shannon and asked if Cailey and Reece could be the Witches of Oz.  She said yes and the girls all turned out so cute!  Lucky for us, The Wizard of Oz was re released just before Halloween and we took the girls to see it so they would know who they were dressing as.  Brooklyn was Dorothy, Cailey was the good witch Glenda, Reece was the Wicked Witch of the West- Elphaba and Trent the Tin Man (switched to the Cowardly Lion when he wouldn't wear the Tin Man costume).  They were so adorable!

Pumpkin carving time

The past few years the girls have been against carving their pumpkins.  This year however, they drew the faces on their pumpkins and watched while Daddy carved them out.  No paint this year.

Picking pumpkins with Cheyenne and Kristen

We took the girls to Live Oak Canyon pumpkin patch, the one we have been taking them to since Cailey was a baby.  Aunt Stacy and Granny brought Cheyenne and Kristen to pick pumpkins with us.  The girls also had a great time jumping up and down a tower of hay, petting the animals, riding the ponies and the rides.

While picking out pumpkins, we discovered many lady bugs on the vines and leaves of the pumpkins. So it then became a hunt for lady bugs instead of pumpkins.
