Our real first day was spent traveling from LAX to Boston. We left LA at 8:20 and arrived in Boston just after 4 and didn't get to the hotel and checked in until about 5:30. We stayed in the Back Bay section of Boston and after checking into our hotel, we walked to find somewhere to eat. After eating, we walked around Copley Square for a little bit and then headed for bed. Our first full day in Boston would be a total football day.
We left our hotel bright and early, stopping only to get our rental car before heading to Foxboro or Foxborough depending on who you are. We got to Gillette Stadium about 10 in the morning and people were already arriving. Tailgating started at 12:30.
Patriot Place, the outdoor mall that surrounds Gillette.
The Hall of Fame was closed for a private event. Oh well, have to go back again to see it!
We are here!
The Patriots that fire their guns every time we get a touchdown!
We attempted to eat at Toby Keith's I love this bar and grill but the wait was outrageous! When we got there they were seating number 14 and when we left they were on number 45, we were holding number 87! As we left, we gave a couple coming in our 87 because they had a number in the 150's! Crazy.
Our view from our seats.
Welker warming up
Brady
Streches.....
And here they come, ready to play, lead by Brady.
Game over, we win 31 to 21!
Can you see Welker? What about the Gronkowski brothers?
Amazing first day in Boston.
Mom says- Looks like you guys had a GREAT time. I am so glad. Papa and I had a great time having the girls. Then it was great for me to have them in their own home/environment. They are so different when they are at home!
