I was off work for the weekend and Kevin was in Glamis so I asked Granny if she wanted to go to the LA zoo with the girls. We also decided to see what Jack, Shannon and Ginny were doing and if they wanted to come along. It turned out to be a beautiful day and the kids had a blast looking at all of the animals. I had never been to this zoo before. I grew up going to the San Diego Zoo. I had always considered that the real zoo.

This was at the jaguar cage. Reece told us to look at the jaguars apples on his bottom. Yes, he was a male cat.

All Jack wanted to do was see the bear. At the bear enclosure there were telescopes. Jack thought they were guns and wanted to shoot whatever animals had the "guns" by their cages. It was cute to see all the kids "shoot:" the animals when they got the chance.

Jack and Reece shared an ice cream. Everyone was sharing with Jack but he sure didn't want any of his Mommy's vanilla ice cream.
