We took a spur of the moment trip to Disneyland and were fortunate enough to have Daddy come with us. Granny had gotten him a ticket for Christmas and he took the day off to come with us. It was crowded because it was still winter break for the schools but we had fun anyway. The girls were very excited to have Kevin with us.
Waiting in line for Pirates of the Carribean. We normally never have to wait more than 5 minutes for this ride but on this day, we had to wait for 20 minutes. You can tell it was busy by that alone.
They were filming these employees who "paint" characters faces with water on the ground around the theme park. It was neat to watch how fast he did it with just water and a broom.
Reece was tired out. She fell asleep in the 20 minute line for Small World but woke up when we went on the ride.
No trip to Disney is complete with out the teacups. The girls absolutely love this ride. They just giggle and giggle and make it spin.
We had fast passes for the Autopia cars. Reece wanted to drive with Mommy. Look at how cute she is!
Cailey drove with Daddy while Granny was behind them in a car of her own.
While Reece napped, Kevin and I took Cailey on Space Mountain. I cannot believe she is now big enough to go on this ride. It is fast and crazy. She looked terrified when we got done and came out of the tunnel but she didn't cry. She just says she isn't going on that ride again.
We stayed late because Daddy rarely gets the chance to go with us. While waiting for the fireworks to start, Reece curled up in the stroller and fell asleep. She was so tired that she didn't even wake up when the fireworks started. It was a good day and we were so glad that Daddy had the opportunity to go with us this time.
