We have two cactus plants in our back yard. They are the two plants that survived being ripped out when we moved in. Everything else was pulled. Anyways, they bloom in the summer, every year and have the most interestingly beautiful flowers on them. Kevin has been showing the buds to the girls and explaining to Cailey as best he can about them. They usually only bloom at night and will die shortly after. They sometimes last a day, mostly only a few hours. Daddy took the bloom pictures before he left for work in the morning just as the sun was coming up, knowing that they wouldn't be there long.
