Reece's birthday presents

Because of all the snow we got on the night of her birthday, Reece stayed at Granny's with Cailey.  We were all together tonight and able to give her her birthday gifts.

 Puzzles

A dora erase board and story book
Slinky!  Cailey has a Jesse doll and all Reece has said for the past year was that she wanted a Slinky(the dog from Toy Story.  They finally have one!

Closing her eyes with Slinky, waiting for her big present.....
 A BIG GIRL BIKE!
She was so excited to ride it around the house.

And on Friday, we are celebrating by going to Disneyland! Happy Birthday baby!

What a difference 5 days makes

Just 5 days ago it was warm enough to go running through the hose at our house.  Now it is snowing.  Kevin called me at work at 5:30 yesterday to tell me that it was snowing. He ended up leaving the kiddos at Granny's so no one would have to drive the canyon in the icy roads in the morning. I was a little bummed to not be able to spend Reece's birthday with her but better off safe.  This is what our yard looked like this morning.

California cactus with a little snow.

Wildwood canyon park
 The girls were with Granny.

Happy 3rd Birthday Reece Aubrey!

Oh my goodness baby girl, I cannot believe how fast you have grown.  You are a little ball of energy, a great mixture of sweetness and spunk.  You have been the perfect little addition to our family.    At three you want to do everything like your big sister.  You have an amazing vocabulary but are sometimes hard to understand.  This is getting better with each passing day. We are currently trying to potty train you and have seemed to turn a corner.  Two full days in panties and a full dry night.  You are stubborn and I am sure will do it only when you are fully ready to. You are so attached to your b's (little blankets) that its crazy.  I think they really comfort you and you love them and will carry three or four at a time. You love Tangled and The Little Mermaid.  Not the typical princesses but the ones with a little sass. Daddy and I love you so much and cannot wait to watch you grow.
